The system doesn't care about "drug addicts"; in fact, it is the main supplier, as it turned out for just about everyone during Afghanistan...

As another "academic," I can safely state that Kennedy was confirmed, and it is certainly a "new beginning," but of what?

RFK, Jr. introduced himself as a red-herring salesman with a strong affinity to limited hangouts:

He contradicted himself several times:

He is selling hope for the disempowered and the desperate:

Bait-and-switch nearly always works, because people are so late at finding out details of just about anything:

It's probably best for people to realize that he is only an insider player, as all politicians are...

Kennedy is only confirming the current insane "madical" paradigm.

When I was a professor, I used to ask the question to my students, "Raise your hand, if you are not addicted to anything; don't worry, I won't remember who did that." Only about one in 30 students did that. Addiction can be extremely powerful without drugs, and it also seems to be part of human nature.

For that matter, the convid psyp helped the commoner to be able to assume various roles, and the rotation was addictive (but computer games are one of the worst, too):

Oh, "nicotine addiction" is another ruse by the "madical" (sic!) establishment. Once you stop smoking, you can start over anytime later, and there is no addiction left. Smoking is more like a habit, so the psychological dependency (the "kick" smokers feel, when inhaling) plays a lot more important role than nicotine. To a certain extent, the same is true for alcohol, although booze does have the tendency to destroy first-time addicts...
